Abstract

A retrospective study of 154 cases of AIDS necropsied at HUAP showed lesions in the CNS. Cerebral toxoplasmosis was tlie more common ne11rologic alterarion found in 60 cases (38,9%). We gave empltasis to epidemiological and clinical data evolution time,neuropathological, neuroradiological and serological fudings, with the aim of getting orientation for early diagnosis and clteraperaics, allowing increased survivalin patiencs wich AIDS and coxoplasmosis.
